Addressing biodiversity losses in endemic species and peat bog habitats in Belarus through scientific research and capacity building.

Creation of local saiga management associations

Establishing local ranger groups to monitor saiga populations in their area, and act as advocates for saiga conservation. The project includes awareness-raising among local communities and collaborative action with the relevant ministries.

Implementing the Convention on Biological Diversity in Georgia

Improving the conservation capacity of the NGO sector in Georgia and in turn, conserving the globally important biodiversity of the Caucasus, in collaboration with a local NGO (ACRES) and others to implement the Georgian National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan.
